The Failure of Reforms
King Louis XVI tried to solve all of the economic problems of France, but he failed in doing this. The king had ran out of ideas so he ended up hiring man named Jacques Necker to help him with the country. Necker was a financial wizard who had great ideas that would benefit France; reducing court spending, reduce taxes on the poor and start taxing the other estates, and reform the government. Necker's ideas were great, but the king fired him because he didn't like the ideas.
